This word wall was created using the theme “Frosty the Snowman” to support children’s early literacy development in a fun and engaging way. The word wall includes winter-related vocabulary words connected to the story, such as snowman, hat, carrot, cold, snow, and winter. Each word is paired with a clear picture so children can visually connect the word with its meaning.

The purpose of this activity is to help children build vocabulary, recognize letters, and develop word awareness. By seeing the words displayed in the classroom, children are encouraged to use them during conversations, storytelling, and writing activities. The visual support also helps emergent readers make connections between spoken and written language.
