My name is Anshika Sharma, and I am currently a student in the Early Childhood Education program at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. I am passionate about supporting young children as they grow, learn, and explore the world around them. My goal as a future Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) is to create safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments where every child feels valued and supported.

Through my placements and volunteer experiences, I have gained hands-on experience observing children’s development, supporting play-based learning, and building positive relationships with children, families, and educators. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, and teamwork skills.

My philosophy of early childhood education is inspired by play-based learning and the principles of How Does Learning Happen? I believe children learn best through exploration, creativity, and meaningful interactions. As educators, our role is to guide, observe, and support children while respecting their individual strengths and interests.
